Bucks County Beads has created a constantly rotating schedule of classes.  Listed below are the currently scheduled classes. (More Coming Soon!)

Jewelry-Making Classes

BEADING:
The Small Bead Multi-Strand Necklace Class
Multi-Strand Beading Help!!

Saturday Afternoon, May 5th:  1:00pm-3:00pm;
      or
Saturday Afternoon, May 26th:  1:00pm-3:00pm
      
$20.00.  plus materials.  Supplies for the project will be available to you at Bucks County Beads.

Class size limited to eight.  Preregistration and prepayment required.

This fun class teaches how to lay out and execute a multistrand necklace using small beads and seed beads.  This is a great mother/daughter class.

The instructor for the class will be a member of Bucks County Beads staff.

BEADWEAVING:
Crystal Tennis Bracelet
Free Class!!

Sunday Afternoon, May 6th:  1:00pm-3:00pm
      
Free, just pay for materials.  Supplies for the project will be available to you at Bucks County Beads.

Class size limited to eight.  Preregistration and prepayment required.

You will learn how to beadweave a beautiful bracelet, featuring sparkling Swarovski crystals.   Could be done as an Ankle Bracelet.  Looks great with a tan!!

The instructor will be a member of the Bucks County Beads staff.

BEGINNER BEADING :
Basic Stringing Class

Become a beader, or sharpen your skills!  Have fun creating a beaded necklace of your own design while you learn all the beading basics:  design layout, use of bead board, use of beading wire, crimping, and tool and finding usage.  

Class taught by a member of the Bucks County Beads staff.

BEAD-WEAVING:
Beaded Bezel Earrings

$25.00, plus materials.  Supplies for the project will be available to you at Bucks County Beads.

Class size limited to eight.  Preregistration and prepayment required.

This class teaches the creation of these beautiful earrings, featuring stone or ceramic cabachons with a border woven of seed beads.  Can be used to make a pendant or a pin.

Florence Schadler will be the instructor for the class.  Florence is a Buckingham artisan who teaches at many of the areas craft centers.

This is a real fun beginners bead-weaving project that teaches this attractive bracelet, using Fire Polished Czech Glass Beads and Japanese seed beads.  This is a great project for beginners of all ages.  

Chris White, A local artisan, will be the instructor for the class.

WIREWORK:
Introduction to Wire

Friday Afternoon, May 18th:  1:00pm-3:00pm
         
$35.00, plus $7 kit.  Supplies for the project will be available to you at Bucks County Beads.

Class size limited to eight.  Preregistration and prepayment required.

Learn to enhance your beading projects with attractive hand worked wire enhancements.  Learn the techniques to make:
   1) the perfect eye loop.
   2) wire wrapped loop.  

Class taught by Robin Frank, a Yardley artisan, and member of the Bucks County Beads staff.

This class teaches crocheting with wire and small beads to create this light and airy necklace.

Ann Brown will be the instructor for the class.  Ann is an artist who specializes in wire crochet.

X marks the spot!!  You will learn how to make this beautiful bracelet.    The piece will be completed during the class.  

Robin Connell, a Bucks County beader, will be the instructor for the class.  This stunning bracelet also makes a terrific gift.

This is a real fun beadweaving project that teaches the Dutch Spiral Stitch. If you are a beginner, once you learn this stitch, the sky's the limit!

SUMMER 2012 KIDS' JEWELRY-MAKING CAMP Summer is Coming!!  Time to Think about Camp!!


This year Bucks County Beads will have a one week (June 18-22) Jewelry Making Camp, with morning sessions.

We have lots of new projects that include clay jewelry making, wirework, beadweaving, and a host of other creative and fun activities.

You can reserve your space with a $30 deposit.

Hope to see you this summer!!

   FIVE DAY SESSION:  Monday, June 18 thru Friday, June 22:  9:30am - 1:00pm
$35.00 for individual mornings, $150.00, for all 5 mornings, including materials.  

  Preregistration and prepayment required.

Special five day camp for children from 8 years old to teens!   A terrific childrens activity.  Kids will have fun during each class, creating different projects involving beads in each session, while learning the beading basics, including bead-making, bead-weaving, stringing and finishing jewelry.  Campers wil make necklaces, bracelets, earrings, pendants, and much more.  Campers will be introduced to techniques appropriate to their age, and the proper use of jewelry-making tools.

During break each morning, a lite snack will be available for all campers, or they are welcome to bring their own food and beverages.

This will be our 8th year of SUMMER CAMP.

Class Cancellation Policy

There are no refunds and no transfers for no-shows or for cancellations made less than three (3) days in advance of your class.  Registration is considered a final sale three (3) days prior to the date of your class.  This is because many of our instructors travel a distance, or have busy schedules, and expect to be compensated for no-shows and late cancellations.  We would be happy to transfer your fee to another class or refund the fee if you cancel more than three days in advance of the scheduled class.  If you are unable to attend at the last minute, you are welcome to send someone in your place.  If Bucks County Beads cancels a class for any reason, you will receive a prompt full refund.
