Bucks County Beads has created a constantly rotating schedule of classes.  Listed below are the currently scheduled classes. (More Coming Soon!)

In order to maintain the cost of its class offerings at a reasonable level, Bucks County Beads requests that the materials used in our classes be purchased in our store.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

EARRING-MAKING:
Cluster Earring Project

Special!  Valentine Class!













Thursday Afternoon, February 4th:  2:00pm-4:00pm;
      
$25.00, plus materials.  Supplies for the project will be available to you at Bucks County Beads.

Class size limited to eight.  Preregistration and prepayment required. This class teaches the creation of these beautiful crystal cluster earrings.  The crystals can be either Swarovski Crystal or fire-polished Czech glass.  You can complete this project in a single session.

Class taught by Robin Frank, a Yardley artisan, and member of the Bucks County Beads staff.

$30.00, plus materials.  Supplies for the project will be available to you at Bucks County Beads.

Class size limited to eight.  Preregistration and prepayment required. Learn to make this glamorous bracelet enhanced with wire accents.  This is an intermediate level wireworking class.

Class taught by Robin Frank, a Yardley artisan, and member of the Bucks County Beads staff.

$25.00, plus materials.  Supplies for the project will be available to you at Bucks County Beads.

Class size limited to eight.  Preregistration and prepayment required. You will learn how to make a beautiful and colorful necklace by combining contrasting and complementing beads of differing colors and shapes.  The piece will be completed during the class.  

A member of the Bucks County Beads staff will be the instructor for the class.


BEADWEAVING:
Beginners Peyote Stitch

A Great Beginner Beadweaving Class!!

















Tuesday Afternoon, February 9th:  1:00pm-3:00pm;
         
$25.00, plus materials.  Supplies for the project will be available to you at Bucks County Beads.

Class size limited to eight.  Preregistration and prepayment required. This is a real fun beadweaving project that teaches the basic peyote stitch. If you are a beginner, once you learn this stitch, the sky's the limit!

A member of the Bucks County Beads staff will be the instructor for the class.

You will learn how to make a beautiful "fringy" bracelet.  The piece will be completed during the class.  

Robin Connell, a Bucks County beader, will be the instructor for the class.  This stunning bracelet also makes a terrific gift.

Class size limited to eight.  Preregistration and prepayment required.


This is a real fun beadweaving project that teaches you to weave Swarovski crystals and seed beads into these sparkling little balls, which can then become a pendant , or earrings. If you are a beginner, once you learn this technique, the sky's the limit!

A member of the Bucks County Beads staff will be the instructor for the class.  


PENDANT-MAKING:
Using Polymer Clay

Tuesday Evening, February 16th:  6:00pm-8:00pm;
      

Instruction is free, you only pay for materials.  Supplies for the project will be available to you at Bucks County Beads.

Class size limited to eight.  Preregistration and prepayment required.

Learn to create interesting pendants and dangles using polymer clay. Can be used for earings too. They are easy to make, colorful, and light as a feather.    

Gina D'Emilio, A local artisan, and Art Education student at Holy Family University, will be the instructor for the class.

$35.00, plus materials.  Supplies for the project will be available to you at Bucks County Beads.

Class size limited to eight.  Preregistration and prepayment required.


This beginner class teaches crocheting with seed beads and small beads using the the slip stitch tubular method.

During the class you will be able to finish a beautiful bangle bracelet in your choice of colors.  

Susanne O'Brein will be the instructor for the class.  Susanne is a Philadelphia artisan who specializes in working with seed beads.

Advanced Woven Bracelet

Sunday Afternoon, February 21st:  Noon- 2:00pm;
      

$25.00, plus materials.  Supplies for the project will be available to you at Bucks County Beads.

Class size limited to eight.  Preregistration and prepayment required.


This is an extension of the previously-taught single row Woven Bracelet, which creates a multi row pattern with the same, or varied colors.  This is a great project for beginners of all ages.  Once you learn this technique, the sky's the limit!

Gina D'Emilio, A local artisan, and Art Education student at Holy Family University, will be the instructor for the class.

Instruction is free, you just pay for materials.  Supplies for the project will be available to you at Bucks County Beads.

Class size limited to eight.  Preregistration and prepayment required.


You will learn how to beadweave a beautiful bracelet, featuring sparkling Swarovski crystals.   Could be done as an Ankle Bracelet.  Looks great with a tan!!

The instructor will be a member of the Bucks County Beads staff.

This intermediate wirework class teaches you to create this versatile necklace using your enhanced skills, and Sterling Silver, Craft, or Copper wire.

Class taught by Robin Frank, a Yardley artisan, and member of the Bucks County Beads staff.



BEADWEAVING -
The Beaded Lariat

$40.00, plus materials.  Supplies for the project will be available to you at Bucks County Beads.

Class size limited to five.  Preregistration and prepayment required.


You will learn how to make this beautiful lariat with fringed ends in the "Queen Anne" stitch.

Wendy Quanstrom will be the instructor for the class.  Wendy is a local artisan who specializes in beadweaving.


WIRE WORK BOOT CAMP















Sunday Afternoon, February 28th:  Noon-4:00pm;      

$60.00, plus $17.00 materials fee.  Supplies for the project will be available to you at Bucks County Beads.

Class size limited to eight.  Preregistration and prepayment required.

This is an opportunity to learn all of the basic wire-working techniques at a single session.  Learn to enhance your beading projects with attractive hand worked wire enhancements.  Learn the techniques to make:

   1) the perfect eye loop.
   2) wire wrapped loop.
   3) briolette bail.
   4) finishing loops and flourishes.
   5) hand-crafted hook and eye clasp.  

Class taught by Robin Frank, a Yardley artisan, and member of the Bucks County Beads staff.


Class Cancellation Policy

There are no refunds and no transfers for no-shows or for cancellations made less than three (3) days in advance of your class.  Registration is considered a final sale three (3) days prior to the date of your class.  This is because many of our instructors travel a distance, or have busy schedules, and expect to be compensated for no-shows and late cancellations.  We would be happy to transfer your fee to another class or refund the fee if you cancel more than three days in advance of the scheduled class.  If you are unable to attend at the last minute, you are welcome to send someone in your place.  If Bucks County Beads cancels a class for any reason, you will receive a prompt full refund.
